PLR Q&A Session 4 – How Affiliate Systems Work
In these video sessions, I will be answering questions that I have collected from some of our PLR customers. Many of the questions are very likely on the minds of a lot of other people so I will be taking some time to answer them in as much depth as possible.
Session 4 – Question:
I’m interested to know how affiliate network payment processors work like JVZoo and Clickbank etc. Can you have more than one working for your site at the same time? Or do you choose one or the other? Which would you recommend? .

WOW, another excellent, info-packed video. Thanks for all the clarifications, explanations and personal insights Justin … you have no idea how helpful these videos are! As for me, I’m beginning to see the light thru my brain fog, while my confidence increases with each video 🙂 Thanks for being so genuinely awesome Justin!

Hey Donna
Awesome…LOVE getting that kind of feedback. It means it is helping 🙂
This was actually a tough topic to cover and I really only glossed over a lot of the specifics. But it sounds like it was about the right level of depth for an introductory discussion based on your response 🙂 Glad you are enjoying the series
thanks

If the affiliate program pays out an instant commission as you mentioned, what happens when there are returns?
Claude
Good question.
With instant commissions both the affiliate and seller give JV Zoo access to their Paypal accounts. This is done electronically through a secure API connection.
So just like when a commission is paid instantly. When a refund is processed, that commission is automatically withdrawn from the affiliate’s account.
I have had situations where I went to process a refund and the funds were not available in the affiliate’s account. Since that happened, I always give the affiliate the heads up before I process the refund.
Many times, I manually pay out a refund with my own money so my affiliate can keep their commission. Its better business 🙂
Great information Justin, I understand these affiliate systems so much better now, as a buyer and as an affiliate. Your videos are very informative and its wonderful how much time and effort you put into answering these questions. You make it really understandable.
Hey Lori
Awesome! Glad this was helpful for you. There is actually a lot more to learn when it comes to affiliate systems but this at least gets the ball rolling.
Thanks for the comment
Thanks Justin that really simplified things. The amember model is nice if your the first affiliate and the product producer does a whole of promotions. However as a subsequent affiliate it could lead to bad blood because you did the work and somebody else picks up the reward.
Hey Colin
That is probably the most common complaint about the lifetime affiliate model. Most proponents would argue that the true size of the market is so huge that this really should not be an issue…. which I can see. And most of the people I know who run these lifetime models do indeed promote a LOT… so it benefits me as the affiliate.
Having said that, it is still not a model I would use personally. Partly for the reason you state as well as a number of other reasons. Again, this is just my personal choice.
